I’ve always been drawn to loose-fitting clothing. Maybe it’s because I was abnormally thin during childhood and was teased a lot. Or, maybe it’s just my trendy inner Olsen twin wanting to be heard. No matter from where my affinity for clothing that swallows me whole may stem, I feel relaxed in an oversized outfit. Still, I don’t want to look like I don’t know how to dress myself properly, so I’ve found that pairing boxy garments with a set of attention-grabbing heels (like these lace-up heels, here) creates an intentional, modern look. To give this ensemble extra edge, I opted for a tunic with an on-trend shoulder cutout (here) by Tibi.
Since monochromatic looks are so simple to put together and always look smart (top, here; culottes, here), I could spend every day wearing only black and white. I also appreciate a classic red lip (lipstick, here) and joyful metallic accessory (bag, here) for added pops of color. While on the go in this contemporary outfit, I felt fantastic! It has definitely been filed away as an energizing go-to look for fashionable occasions.
