The Freshest Fruit Print

The Freshest Fruit Print

As we swing into the warmer months, fashion featuring the fruit du jour is a good-natured way to enliven your attire. Last summer, we saw a lot of fruit prints, such as cherries, pineapples, and watermelons (see previous posts here and here).

However, this year, designers have started to roll out the tutti frutti trend a little early. One brand in particular, For Love & Lemons, has taken the lead on this fruity favorite (very fitting). Their spring/summer collection includes several pieces that feature a zesty lemon print (see below). I chose to get the jumpsuit (sold out almost everywhere already, found one here). The sweet ruffle shoulder detail pairs perfectly with the belt when tied in a bow and is so darn cute that I want to eat it up.

To go along with these fresh spring feels, I picked out this mint-colored bag by Violet Ray while visiting their NYC headquarters to discuss a few collaborations. I have a serious obsession with handbags, from affordable to designer, so I most definitely felt like a kid in a candy store while touring their showroom. You can see some of my favorite Violet Ray bags below (all under $100).

Other on-trend items this spring and summer are boater hats (again, woohoo!) and footwear featuring pearls (see how I also styled these pearl sandals with an LRD, here). I had the BEST time wearing this outfit during a recent afternoon at The Beverly Hills Hotel – this hotel is so super chic and I spotted Cindy Crawford there!

Below you can see more of this outfit, as well as additional styling options.

This post was made in collaboration with Violet Ray, however, opinions are my own.
