Fashion Diary {VIDEO}: Spring in NYC with Pinko

I’m proud to pen that I’ve partnered with Pinko to celebrate springtime in New York City. For those of you that have been following along for awhile, you already know that I’ve been obsessed with the contemporary Italian brand since first spotting their new store on West Broadway Street in SoHo, Manhattan last year (read about my love at first sight, here).

Last month, while attending a launch event at the Pinko store for their latest denim line, dubbed P Jean, I got to meet some of their executives who were in from Italy for the day. In between sips of prosecco, I confessed my sense of boredom with most of the stores in the area and how American clothing is all starting to look the same to me. I went on to share how their brand had saved me from the fashion funk that I was beginning to slip into and then essentially gushed about every reason why I had become such a super fan.

Maybe it was my extreme excitement or that they just wanted to be set free from my endless proclamations of adoration, but I was silenced by a proposition. They inquired if I’d like to style a look from their Spring/Summer 2017 Collection for their new video series that features global style stars and how they celebrate springtime in their city. My mission, should I choose to accept, would be to capture what I love most about springtime in the Big Apple – including the fashions, of course! I’m pretty sure you already know my answer. 🙂

Below, you can see the video that shows how I express the joys of springtime in New York City. There are also snapshots that offer a closer look at the modern detailing found in the pieces that I pulled from the Pinko SS17 collection. You can find these either in a Pinko store near you (locations here) or online (here).

This post was made in partnership with Pinko, however, opinions are my own.
